Prefab Manager

The Spool Manager will list all the Assemblies/Spools in the current project.

The Spool Manager lists out information related to each spool as well as its package. It also allows for certain actions to be applied at each level. This information is convenintely displayed in two tabs.

Spool Tab

  1. Selection box - when checked, actions may be performed on the selected row(s). Checking/unchecking the box in the header will either check or uncheck all of the boxes in the grid.
  2. Condition - Displays the current state of the spool. Currently, there are two conditions regarding spools.
    1. Defined - elements have been designated as an assembly.
    2. Spooled - elements have been designated as an assembly, but views/schedules/sheets have been generated.
  3. Spool Name - Displays the name of the assembly/spool.
  4. Prefab Package Name - Displays the name of the Prefab Package the spool is contained in.
  5. Level - Displays the level within the project the assembly has association with.
  6. Title Block - When Batch Spooling, the current title block and associated information will be used when creating the spool sheet.
  7. Service - Displays the Fabrications Service the elements in the spool are associated with. If assemble contains multiple services, Multi-Service is displayed.
  8. Status - Displays the set Status as derived from the Fabrication CADmep database.
  9. Pending Action - Displays rows with uncommitted actions.
  10. Actions Ribbon - A menu containing a list of functions to perform of selected rows.

You can organize the information in the Spool Manager to more quickly work with the spools in the project. Simply Click>Hold>Drag any column into the open row at the top of the dialog to group by the data in the column.

Pre-Fab Packages Tab
