Using Custom families with Auto Sleeve

We include standard sleeves on install for use in Automatic Sleeve Placement. However these families are meant to only be stating points. You can also path to your own custom sleeves as well.
Parameters Need in Custom Sleeve
There are a few parameters that must be both included as well as named correctly in your sleeve family in order for compatibility automatic placement .
Round Sleeves
All parameters needed are shared parameters provided with eVolve Mechanical.
- Sleeve Diameter Nominal
- Serves as flag for round sleeve use.
- Will be used to control width of sleeve
- Sleeve Length
- Will be used to control length of sleeve
- eM_Status
- Will control the status field of the sleeve
Rectangular Sleeves
All parameters needed are shared parameters provided with eVolve Mechanical.
- Sleeve Width
- Will be used to control width of sleeve
- Sleeve Length
- Will be used to control length of sleeve
- Sleeve Depth
- Will be used to control depth of sleeve
- eM_Status
- Will control the status field of the sleeve
Other options
As long as the above parameters are both apart of your family as well as designed to control the subsequent need, you are free to include any other options desired.
