📂Content Updates

  • Fixed an issue with project tag file pathing.
  • Added a weld family to the Carbon Steel pipe type in the eM system families file.
  • Added a coupling family to the Ductile Iron pipe type in the eM system families file.
  • Note: (2) families were added to each of the above pipe types. The families themselves are identical considering geometry and metadata aspects but one is classified as a "union" and one is classified as a "flange". Having a "flange" defined results in a weld being added to each end of all fittings, as one would expect.
    • Revit limitation: When both a "flange" and "union" are defined and a pipe segment is split, (2) "flanges" will be added rather than a single "union".
    • Known EVOLVE bug: Using the Add/Remove Union quick tool when both a "flange" and "union" are defined will result in an error being reported. A future release will address this issue.
    • Recommended workflow:
      1. Model desired pipe runs.
      2. Couplings or welds (Revit classified "flanges") will automatically be modeled around each fitting.
      3. When ready to break up pipe segments into practical lengths, remove the defined "flange" from the routing preferences of the pipe type.
      4. Run the Add/Remove Union EVOLVE quick tool to place couplings or welds (Revit classified "unions") across the pipe segments. Manually adding splits will also work as expected now (a single "union" will be added).
      5. Redefine the "flange" in the pipe type routing preferences.
  • Added a combined eccentric/concentric reducer family to the Carbon Steel pipe type in the eM system families file.
  • Removed the individual eccentric and concentric reducer families from the Carbon Steel pipe type in the eM system families file.
  • Fixed an issue with the itemization of entries within the RFA pipe fittings schedules.
  • Updated the default grid state for Prefab Manager.
