Learning Tracks

The following learning tracks are intended to provide users a path through the EVOLVE Mechanical help documentation.

Important:

EVOLVE is an add-on to the Revit platform, therefore, general knowledge of Revit fundamentals is required to effectively use EVOLVE Electrical. If you feel your Revit knowledge is not where it needs to be, contact EVOLVE HERE for a Revit assessment and information on Revit training.

Track 1 - Fundamentals

Revit Skill: Beginner | Moderate | Advanced

Topics: User Interface | Feature Standards | Intro to Content

Description: General introduction which covers the ribbon layout, common features and functions, and additional resources. The topics covered in this track should be reviewed by all users of EVOLVE.

Topics: Hangers, Quick Tools, Points, etc.

Description: For all users that model and coordinate with Revit/EVOLVE content. This track goes through the various EVOLVE features that improve the speed and accuracy of creating models.

Revit Skill: Moderate | Advanced

Topics: Annotations, Sheets, Schedules, Reports

Description: This track covers the EVOLVE features which are utilized to create project deliverables such as; spools, sheets, schedules, and reports.

Description: This track focuses on EVOLVE family content and information for users to create and modify EVOLVE families. Users should have moderate to advance knowledge of Revit family creation.

Topics: Parameter Sync, PowerShell, Data Profiles

Description: This track focuses on EVOLVE utilities for more advanced users, such as, utilizing PowerShell scripts, data profiles, data tables and more.

Topics: Licensing, Workstations, Configurations

Description: This track focuses on the various administrative functions from managing licensing to workstation and project configurations. This provides the resources for IT, Company Admins and/or VDC Managers to manage EVOLVE Electrical for their team.
