Tips and Tricks
- Advanced Users and User Roles 1-5 are not able to download content file packages, but Admins and Power Users are able to download content file packages.
- If user does not have access to download content, the content in the Content Portal will still show, but the user will not be able to download it. A message will appear explaining why the content is not available.
- When downloading a Family Library, EVOLVE will place its contents directly into the custom library directory. If a custom path has not been set, the user will be prompted to choose one. After download, all families in the library become immediately available in the Family Browser.
- If the downloaded library includes a Global Configuration file, any utility configurations (i.e. Parameter Sync rules) will be automatically loaded.
- Content packages not classified as a Family Library (e.g., sample files, database components) are downloaded to a user-specified directory. These are treated as standard files. The user is free to use, move, or modify as needed.
